What is a hero?
One who goes above and beyond the call of duty, to honor, protect and give all for the freedoms of life. Ken Maxwell and Brian Harris gave all to protect us. Nothing can be more honorable than to give it all for someone else. This photo was taken from a large canvas print that is in the possession of Ila Mae Swapp. It has been a past tradition to take the opportunity to honor these great men with a moment of silence on patriotic occasions.
God bless the families of these great heroes. Our town is blessed to have rubbed shoulders with such fine patriots.
