In the quaint little Cemetery in Mt. Carmel, Utah, a marker stands with the name of Thaddeus Hodges. However, he is not in the grave; he was lost at sea. A German sub struck the side of the ship where Thad was stationed with his fellow warriors. They lost their lives and were never recovered.
